Greetings Indiana (or nearby) checker players,
I have been notified of a checker get-together to be held
in the Shipshewana area this Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, starting at 9 a.m. The
players will be mostly Amish men. They are pretty serious players and use the
3-move opening cards.
The man who called me said bring a friend or two. Anyone who
might like to try your hand at some good checkers on Saturday, please answer
this e-mail by Friday or call me at (574) 257-9033. Maybe we can share a ride
there.
